We have an exciting opportunity for a Responder to join the team within our Cheshire Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Service Centre. You will work as part of an engaged and motivated team, for a company committed to reward and recognition for a job well done. Livity Life work in partnership with the local authority to supply TEC solutions to support people in their day-to-day life.

Job Role

As a Responder you are responsible for attending service users promptly, assessing the situation and providing, when directed, immediate and effective responses to incidents, emergencies, or service requests. This role ensures timely intervention, accurate reporting, and adherence to safety and operational protocols in order to minimise risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond as directed by The Livity Life 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC)
  • Assess the situation and take appropriate action to resolve or escalate
  • Use IT systems/Apps in the execution of the role
  • Maintain clear communication with ARC, supervisors, and stakeholders
  • Record all incidents accurately
  • Follow policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements
  • Use appropriate protective equipment and follow risk management protocols
  • Provide welfare checks for vulnerable service users where required
  • Liaise effectively with emergency services, contractors, clients, and internal teams during incidents or emergencies
  • Deliver excellent customer service at all times, acting as a professional ambassador for the organisation
  • support colleagues and provide assistance during high-risk or complex incidents where required
  • Attend training and team meetings to maintain compliance, skills, and knowledge
What You Bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in care, rehabilitation, or assistive technology is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to respond confidently to emergencies
  • Competent in assisting individuals safely using the Mangar ELK lifting device
  • Train in safe, person‑centred manual handling techniques
  • Knowledge of hygiene standards and preventative measures
  • Understanding of data protection, confidentiality, and secure handling of information
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with accurate record‑keeping
